Nisha Catron
Nisha started singing in first grade talent shows and cabaret shows she’d produce in her garage. She began writing her own songs on her mother’s guitar at age 11. She added harmonica, piano, accordion and whistles all while developing her singing voice; influenced by her mother Gloria, Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, and Madonna. Besides being nominated for many awards and musical accolades, her song “Keep Me Warm” music video was directed by Tane McClure Arendts and Julie Strain lip-synched her song “Forbidden Fruit” in the cult film Witchcraft IV. When she’s not meditating with her dogs she is training to become a senior Olympian by 75 and aiming to play electric guitar like Jimi Hendrix by age 90.
